As an engineer I have always had an interest in the efficient use of energy, especially renewable energy. In the late 70’s while working for TI, I performed heat lost surveys. The project at TI stimulated my interest in renewable energy and for years I watched the renewable energy industry develop into a viable energy option. The GP&L solar program was too good to pass up and the right thing to do. So far the system is performing well. I plan to continue to reduce my home energy consumption.
